For machinery manufacturer Semix Global we built an ecosystem around selling heavy machinery: a catalogue platform without a shopping cart, requests straight into Microsoft Dynamics 365, quotes with pdf and specifications, and three languages for three continents. Below you can read which problem it solves and how we built it.

The problem

Why SEO keeps breaking down

Semix Global manufactures heavy machinery: concrete batching plants, truck mixers, cement silos and reclaimers, with customers in America, Europe and Turkey. You do not sell such a product from a shopping cart. Every deal starts with a quote request and ends in a worked out proposal with specifications, prices and delivery times.

That world ran on loose parts: product information in spreadsheets, quotes by hand in Word, customer data in Dynamics without a usable connection to the website, and communication with three continents in three different languages and phone numbers. A request from America could be on the road for days before anyone in Istanbul did anything with it.

Product information in spreadsheets, quotes by hand in word processors

Dynamics as an island: no connection to website or catalogue

Requests from three continents wandered around for days before anyone picked them up

Three languages and three regions without one consistent presentation

No view of which ads and channels actually produced quotes

The solution

What we built

We built Semix a digital ecosystem around selling heavy machinery: a catalogue platform where every request lands directly in Microsoft Dynamics 365, a back office with which the sales team creates, sends and updates quotes, and a content layer the company manages itself.

Instead of a shopping cart the site is built around the quote process: the customer configures and requests, the system turns it into a lead and later a complete proposal, with all product specifications attached automatically. Three languages with geographic routing give America, Europe and Turkey each their own entrance.

A catalogue without a shopping cart

Heavy machinery asks for a different sales flow than an add to cart button. The site presents the complete programme, batching plants to spare parts, with rich specifications per product, and guides every visitor towards a quote request.

3D configurator as the way in

An interactive landing page where the customer views and configures a batching plant in three dimensions, ending in a targeted quote request. For a product of this size seeing sells better than reading.

Request straight into Dynamics as a lead

Quote forms with per country phone validation, cascading choices from category to product and spam protection. Every request appears in Dynamics 365 with source data, linked to the customer record.

Create, send and update quotes

The sales team creates quotes in dollars with the right price list, product lines enriched with specifications from the catalogue, and sends them as formatted pdf by email with the spec sheets attached. Reorder lines, adjust prices, send again: all in one screen.

CRM back office for the sales team

Companies, contacts, products with stock and value, quote status from draft to won: the team works in one dashboard on Dynamics 365 instead of navigating Dynamics itself.

Microsoft Dynamics as the backbone

The integration talks to Dynamics 365 directly through the official web api with secure enterprise authentication: customers, products, prices, currencies and quotes live in one system. No double administration, no retyping.

Content in their own hands

Company page, references, distributors, category presentation and product information are maintained by Semix itself from an admin panel. Adjust, save, immediately live.

Advertising with source tracking

Analytics and advertising pixels from Google, Meta and LinkedIn only load after visitor consent. Every request carries its origin, utm parameters and campaign, so it is visible which channels produce quotes.

Three languages, three regions, one site

Visitors automatically get the right language and contact point based on location: English for the international market, Turkish for the home market, French for the French regions. Canonical urls, hreflang and a complete sitemap keep findability in order in every language.

“A request comes in, I open the dashboard, click through to the company and the quote is already there with the right products and prices. Specifications and pdf sheets attached. What used to be an afternoon of cutting and pasting is now fifteen minutes of checking and sending.”
